Submitted by TKorea on 2010/02/28 – 4:35 pmNo Comment

WiBro (Wireless Broadband) or the local version of mobile WiMAX is finding a new way to show as an enabler of Wi-Fi connectivity.

SK Telecom introduced a portable gateway named “Bridge,” that enables WiBro or the local version of mobile WiMAX on Wi-Fi devices such as a laptop computer, portable media players and smartphones. Prior to this, KT launched the “Egg” last year, and plans to launch an enhanced model soon.
