Satellite DMB Service in Korea
TU Media, the nation’s only operator of satellite DMB service, introduced a dual DMB phone (SCH-W890), which allows users to view both satellite and terrestrial DMB. With the dual DMB phone, users are able to enjoy 36 channels (23 video channels and 13 audio channels) via S-DMB as well as 21 channels through T-DMB. TU Media expects the new mobile TV phone will help to attract new customers by resolving content shortages.
