In the second quarter, various Android-based smartphones were released from SK Telecom to compete with the domestic smartphone market-leading Apple iPhone offered thru KT. As in the first quarter, the iPhone is the center of the fast-growing smartphone space. SK Telecom has, however, started to successfully make a dent in changing the mood toward Android phones.
