Sennheiser Enters Korea’s Headphones Market
Sennheiser Electronic, a German maker of high-end consumer and professional audio gear, announced Thursday the launch of the company’s popular headphone line in the South Korean market.
Sennheiser said local wholesaler SDF International has agreed to conduct exclusive sales of the premium head and earphones at local department stores, record shops and Apple’s roadshops.
The company is well known for manufacturing audio products designed for such Apple devices as the popular iPhone, which is expected to hit the South Korean market next week after Apple received on Wednesday final approval from the country’s telecom regulator.
Sennheiser said it will release 37 new products in the South Korean market as part of efforts to rapidly increase its market presence.
