Korea Going to LTE Instead of Mobile WiMAX

The world’s first mobile WiMAX operators, KT and SK Telecom, officially declared that LTE (Long-Term Evolution) will be their next-generation network infrastructure. The smallest mobile carrier, LG UPlus, said it will also ride the LTE bandwagon and discard the current CDMA network.
